Scottieholics! Salutations! Since I'm an x-amount of days away from being a full blooded civilian for the first time in 10 years. I figured it's time to get off of my butt and get the ball rolling here on the site. There has been a good load of things has been keeping me away from writing for quite some time. But, unfortunately, they are not going to be published here. It's one of those things I prefer to stay off-line and kept that way.
Earlier today, I added a feeder icon to the site. I have entries e-mailed to many of the frequent readers, but it is limited to a certain amount of email addresses. From where I sit, it's a drag. There were many whom I wanted to include, but didn't make the list. To those who felt left out, here's a golden opportunity to keep up with the entries.
For quite some time, I've been hunting around for some favorite videos to post here. A couple of those are some rarities. The one below is an alternate mix of "Changing Keys" better known as the theme to "Wheel of Fortune." Why they got rid of that theme song is beyond me. I remember this day like it was yesterday.
I just graduated out of basic training in San Antonio, Texas. The first thing I wanted to do on town pass was look for a nearest Best Buy. The CD the Game Show Network released back in late 1997 was one of those CDs on my wish list. I'm sure I pissed off a good load of people by playing the theme song while I was in Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Quite frankly, I didn't care and still don't. Anyways, it'd be cool to give it a nice 2009 remix.
Here's another theme song that I came to enjoy. As a matter of fact, it knocked me the bleep out. I'm sure many of my weed smoking Scottieholics would enjoy this one. This theme song is tranquil and relaxing. I think this clip will do better justice than describing it. This is the theme the CBS soap opera "Guiding Light" used back in the mid to late 1970s' until the early 1980s.
It'd be nice if CBS released this theme back either on television or on CD. I'll pay to hear it! Becky, I read your entry about wanting to open up a discotheque. Go to my myspace page I had updated a month ago, you'll love it. And yes, you can steal that page, too! In the meantime, arrivederci and Godspeed!
